Help us celebrate Vision Australia's Christmas in July!
This year we are starting the festive celebrations a little earlier by launching our inaugural Christmas in July campaign in Melbourne.
So don't be surprised if you hear someone humming jingle bells, smell cinnamon flavoured plum pudding or sight Santa this July because Christmas is coming early!
This exciting new campaign will be launched in Melbourne's CBD, with a number of restaurants in the docklands offering delicious Christmas menus while raising money for Vision Australia during July.
A trip down memory lane...
Like many people, Dorothy Hamilton looks back at her school days as being the best years of her life.
Dorothy is blind and, along with many others across Victoria, boarded at Melbourne's iconic Royal Victorian Institute for the Blind (now Vision Australia) School on St Kilda Road.
On 21 June 2008 Dorothy and her school mates had the opportunity to farewell the site.
